Terms & Conditions — More Leads, Less Hustle Micro Audio Summit

Hello, fellow business owner! By registering for the More Leads, Less Hustle Micro Audio Summit (hereinafter the “Summit”), you, the registrant (hereinafter “Attendee” or “You”), enter into an agreement with Layman Collective LLC (“Company,” “I,” “we,” or “us”) and agree to the following terms:

Yes, it’s full of legal language that our attorney recommends, but the intention is simple: to protect both of us, make sure expectations are clear, and handle the business side so you can get on with the good stuff—like enjoying the Summit interviews, speaker gifts, and practical strategies to grow your business.

Now for the terms and conditions…

1) What This Is

The Summit is a limited-time, interview-style educational event delivered primarily via a private podcast feed hosted by Hello Audio and/or a Summit portal. Access instructions are sent by email from us and a separate email from Hello Audio.

  • You will receive two emails after registering:

    1. a confirmation email from us;

    2. a separate email from Hello Audio with your unique private feed link.
You must complete the Hello Audio step to listen in your preferred app.
  • The Summit may also include: bonus resources, speaker gifts, links, worksheets, transcripts, Q&A, or limited community interaction.

No professional advice. Content is educational/informational only and not legal, financial, medical, or therapeutic advice.

2) Registration, Access Window, and Tech

  • Registration requires your name and email. By registering, you consent to receive Summit-related emails and reasonable follow-up about related trainings, resources, or offers. You can unsubscribe at any time (see our Privacy Policy).

  • Access Window. Unless we state otherwise in writing, Summit access (including the private feed and portal) is available for as long as the Summit remains hosted on our portal. We do not promise lifetime access and may discontinue access at any time for operational reasons with reasonable notice.
  • Delivery & Tech. You are responsible for using compatible devices/apps and for checking spam/junk folders. Because the feed is private, some podcast apps may not support it. We cannot guarantee performance/quality across all devices, apps, or bandwidth conditions.

3) Affiliate Disclosure

  • The Summit is free to attend. However, some of the links shared during or after the Summit may be affiliate links. This means that if you choose to purchase a paid plan or product through those links (for example, from Hello Audio, MiloTree, or Descript), we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
  • We only recommend tools and platforms we genuinely believe are valuable for business owners. You are under no obligation to purchase through these links, and you are encouraged to perform your own due diligence before making any decisions.
  •

4) Intellectual Property & Speaker Content

  • Company IP. All Summit materials (audio, transcripts, graphics, workbooks, scripts, frameworks, etc.) are protected by copyright and other IP laws. Registration grants you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license to listen/view for your own use during the access window. You may not copy, share, resell, post, upload, distribute, or create derivative works from any Summit content without prior written permission.

  • Speakers’ IP. Each speaker retains all rights to their own content and materials. Any gifts/resources a speaker provides are governed by the speaker’s own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for those third-party offerings.
  • No Recordings/Redistribution. You may not record, rebroadcast, scrape, or otherwise redistribute any Summit content.

5) Private Feed = For Your Ears Only

Your Hello Audio link is unique to you. Do not share it. We reserve the right to revoke access (without refund of any Upgrade) if we detect sharing, misuse, or abuse (e.g., excessive device activations or public posting).

6) Community Conduct (if interactive elements are offered)

We’re pro-discussion and zero-drama. You agree not to post or transmit anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, discriminatory, spammy, or promotional. We may remove content or terminate access at our discretion.

7) Testimonials and Submissions

If you choose to provide feedback, comments, testimonials, or other materials (“Submissions”), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, edit, reproduce, and display those Submissions in connection with the Summit and future marketing in any media. You represent you own or control rights to your Submissions. We may decline or remove Submissions at any time.

8) Content & Availability

All Summit interviews are pre-recorded and delivered in a private podcast feed. Episodes are published in a set order once released, and you may listen at your own pace. While we strive to provide all promised sessions, we reserve the right to adjust topics, substitute speakers, or update content if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., technical issues, illness, or platform outages).

9) No Guarantees

We share strategies and ideas. Your results depend on your actions and context. We make no income, business, or performance guarantees.

10) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Summit and all related content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or use, arising from or related to the Summit. If any liability is found, it is limited to the amount you paid to us for any Upgrade (if any); free registrations have no monetary remedy.

11) Privacy

We collect and use your information as described in our Privacy Policy. Speakers who offer gifts or bonuses may collect information under their own privacy policies. Hello Audio may process your data to deliver the feed; see Hello Audio’s terms and privacy policy as applicable.

12) Prohibited Use

You agree not to (a) damage, disable, or interfere with Summit platforms; (b) share, sell, or transfer your private podcast link; (c) use Summit content to build competing products or services; or (d) violate any applicable law.

13) Termination

We may suspend or revoke your Summit access if you violate these Terms, share private links, infringe intellectual property, or engage in abusive conduct.

15) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflicts of laws. You agree to bring any claim exclusively in the state or federal courts nearest Kansas City, Missouri. You waive any right to class or representative actions.

16) Severability; Waiver; Updates

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. No waiver is effective unless in a signed writing. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued access after changes means you accept the updated terms.
